MINERALIS carries out its work on exploration permits granted by the Gabonese State. Their exact location and results remain confidential; only their province and purpose are presented here.

Monts de Cristal: gold is sought in bedrock within shear corridors, platinum-group metals in the intrusions of the Kinguélé Suite. Alluvial work is only a targeting tool.

platinum-group metals — Kinguélé Suite

Exploring for platinum-group metals in the Monts de Cristal

The Kinguélé Suite is a set of ancient mafic and ultramafic intrusions (orthopyroxenites, bronzitites, peridotites, harzburgites, norites, gabbros). Some of these rocks are of interest for platinum-group elements; since Kinguélé platinum is not necessarily tied to classic sulphides, the work combines chemistry, petrography and mineralogy.

6Test continuity with profiles, trenches and targeted geophysics; drilling only follows a coherent surface target

The Kinguélé Suite offers genuine exploration interest, particularly for platinum. No economically exploitable concentration has been demonstrated at this stage: the goal is to determine whether regional anomalies reflect isolated enrichments or continuous horizons.

A single observation is not a demonstration. We cross-check sources, keep a record of what was done, by whom and when, and we accept saying that information is insufficient. Internal documents always separate what is observed, what is interpreted and what still has to be verified.

Every mission is prepared according to real risks: competence of the people involved, condition of the equipment, access, weather, distance from emergency services. Anyone on site can stop a dangerous task without having to justify it. Impacts on the environment and on local practices are assessed beforehand, not afterwards.

We refuse irregular practices and maintain traceable professional relationships.

No informal payment, no facilitation, no undisclosed conflict of interest, no arranged document. Our institutional and commercial relationships must be explainable and auditable at any time. The same requirement applies to our contractors and partners.

We operate with restraint and limit disturbance to actual needs.

We take what is needed to understand, nothing more: reduced footprints, movement limited to useful tracks, protection of watercourses and soils, restoration of opened areas. The ground must be able to recover after we leave.

A phase only opens if the previous one delivered reliable information and if the legal framework allows it. We would rather step back or wait than commit resources on a fragile basis. That is what makes long-term work possible.
